Keith Coughlan
Executive Chairman
Keith has almost 30 years’ experience in stockbroking and funds management. He has been largely involved in the funding and promoting of resource companies listed on the ASX, AIM and TSX. He has advised various companies on the identification and acquisition of resource projects and was previously employed by one of Australia’s then largest funds.
Keith was previously the Non–Executive Chairman of ASX listed Talga Resources Limited and Doriemus plc and Non-Executive Director of Calidus Resources Limited. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Codrus Minerals Limited.
Keith is a member of the Audit & Risk Committee and Nomination Committee.
Kiran Morzaria
Non-Executive Director
Kiran is currently Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company’s largest shareholder, Cadence Minerals.
Kiran holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Geology) from the Camborne School of Mines and an MBA (Finance) from CASS Business School. He has extensive experience in the mineral resource industry working in both operational and management roles. Kiran spent the first four years of his career in exploration, mining and civil engineering before obtaining his MBA. He has served as a director of a number of public companies in both an executive and non-executive capacity.
Kiran is the Chair of the Remuneration Committee, and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee and Nomination Committee.
Merrill Gray
Non-Executive Director
Merrill brings to the Board practical experience in new technology business development and growth through her 7 years as a Managing Director (MD) of ASX listed Energy and Minerals companies (including Syngas Limited (ASX:SYS), which she founded). Further built upon by 4 years as MD of Australian public and private and European new technology companies.
Merrill holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Bachelor of Mineral Technology) from Otago School of Mines, a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Otago University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
Merrill’s career spans more than 30 years. Initially in operations then production management, strategic planning and technology portfolio management with large ASX listed multinational corporations including WMC Ltd (10 years). She has also held leadership roles with ASX listeds such as Iluka Resources Limited, Centaur Mining and Exploration Limited and with engineering and management consultancies including GRDMinproc, Secora, Wolf and WillWay where she has focussed on risk management, business improvement, organisation change and strategy.
Merrill currently leads Wolf Advisory, a team that works in energy transitioning and critical mineral supply chains both in Australia and globally.
Merrill has also held Non-Executive Director Board roles with Public and Private companies over several years also with a new technology and sustainability/circular economy focus.
Henko Vos
Company Secretary
Henko is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Registered Company Auditor with more than 20 years’ experience working within public practice, specifically within the area of corporate and accounting services both in Australia and South Africa.
He holds similar secretarial roles in various other listed public companies in both industrial and resource sectors.
Dr Vojtech Sesulka
Geological Consultant
Vojtech is a Certified Geologist with over 10 years experience in mineral exploration, 3D modelling and resource estimation of ore deposits.
Vojtech is a long time member of the geological team on the Cinovec Li-Sn-W project and previously participated on exploration projects in Europe and West Africa.
Vojtech is a member of the European Federation of Geologists and the Czech Association of Economic Geologists.
Richard Pavlik
Executive Director
Richard is the Chief Advisor to the CEO of Geomet s.r.o., the Company’s Czech subsidiary, and is a highly experienced Czech mining executive. He holds a Masters Degree in Mining Engineer from the Technical University of Ostrava in Czech Republic. He is the former Chief Project Manager and Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at OKD. OKD has been a major coal producer in the Czech Republic. He has almost 30 years of relevant industry experience in the Czech Republic.
Richard also has experience as a Project Analyst at Normandy Capital in Sydney as part of a postgraduate programme from Swinburne University. He has held previous senior positions within OKD and New World Resources as Chief Engineer, and as Head of Surveying and Geology. He has also served as the Head of the Supervisory Board of NWR Karbonia, a Polish subsidiary of New World Resources (UK) Limited. He has an intimate knowledge of mining in the Czech Republic.

Ambassador Lincoln P. Bloomfield, Jr.
Non-Executive Director
Lincoln is a former US official specialising in foreign policy and international security, having held policy positions in five previous administrations, most recently in 2008 as a Presidential Envoy with the rank of Ambassador. He has dealt with a wide range of issues and has experience working effectively with governments in Europe and around the world. He also has many years of experience working with companies in the private sector, primarily involving renewable energy technology, private equity, and security issues.
For eight years until 2016, Lincoln was Chairman of the Stimson Center in Washington DC, one of the top-rated think tanks in America. During his service as US Assistant Secretary of State for Political Military Affairs, Lincoln was the US Government regulator responsible for industry compliance with defence export law and regulation. He serves and has previously served on for-profit and non-profit Boards.
Lincoln is the Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee.
Simon Edwards
Corporate Development Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Geomet s.r.o
Simon has over 25 years’ experience in advising and financing companies across mining, industrial, technology and financial sectors, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with Coopers & Lybrand, then moving to corporate finance roles in leading London-based bank/brokers.
Since 2005, he has been exclusively engaged in advising and managing mining companies.
Simon studied Metallurgy & Science of Materials at Oxford University. He joined European Metals in July 2019 and became COO of Geomet, the operator of the Cinovec Project, in April 2020.
Grant Harman
Metallurgical Consultant
Grant is one of the world’s foremost lithium metallurgists and he’s played a significant role in the Company’s successful PFS.
Grant was previously Manager Lithium Chemicals for Talison Lithium and was involved in the management of the Talison Lithium Carbonate Plant from Scoping Study to Definitive Feasibility Study. He was involved in the design and technical direction of the Talison Test Facility and has more recently been a technical consultant on the Sonora Lithium Project in Mexico.
Grant has had previous roles with UGL, SNC Lavalin, CleanTeq and Ausenco.
